(L.A.) Brad Truitt, 78, Died From a Heart Issue

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 78-year-old Black individual that occurred at a residence.

The coroner’s office identified the person as Brad Truitt.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Acute Cardiac Dysfunction

Cause of Death B: Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

RIP BRAD TRUITT (November 21, 1945 – June 4, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 7:40 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on July 23, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back negative for substances.
