(L.A.) Blake Williams, 20, Died From Substance Abuse

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 20-year-old Black male that occurred at a private residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Blake Williams.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Alcohol, Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

Other Significant Condition: Diabetes Mellitus

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 7:45 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on September 9, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
