Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 42-year-old Latino male that occurred at a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Omar De La Cruz.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Methamphetamine Intoxication

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 3:37 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on July 10, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drug.
