Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 40-year-old White/Caucasian female that occurred on a walkway.

The coroner’s office identified the woman as Carrie Hamilton.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Pulmonary Thromboembolism

Cause of Death B: Deep Leg Vein Thrombosis

Other Significant Conditions: Morbid Obesity, Idiopathic Cardiomyopathy and Intrauterine Pregnancy

RIP CARRIE HAMILTON (December 29, 1983 – May 15, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 11:53 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling in early September.
