(L.A.) Benjamin Flores, 38, Died on a Roadway

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 38-year-old Latino male that occurred on a roadway.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Benjerman Herrera Flores, resident of Palmdale.

Cause of Death: Blunt-Force Traumatic Injuries

RIP BENJERMAN FLORES (November 19, 1985 – May 16, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 9:55 p.m.

The decedent was fatally injured in a single-vehicle rollover crash in Palmdale.

At approximately 9:45 p.m., Palmdale Sheriff’s Station deputies responded to a single-vehicle traffic crash on 15th Street East and Avenue P.

Preliminary investigation suggests the driver of a 2004 Chevrolet Avalanche was traveling eastbound in the left lane of Avenue P.

The vehicle suddenly veered north crossing westbound lanes of Avenue P, then hitting a dirt berm, causing the vehicle to roll over.
