Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 47-year-old Black male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Aki Wilson.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Cocaine Intoxication

RIP AKI WILSON (March 18, 1977 – May 1, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 8:53 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on June 27, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the coke.
