Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 79-year-old White/Caucasian female that occurred at her residence.
The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Susan Lumiere.

Cause of Death: Human Metapneumovirus Infection

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling in early September, presumably after the results of a tox panel had come back from the lab.
Human Metapneumovirus (hMPV) is a respiratory virus that causes infections similar to those caused by other respiratory viruses, presenting symptoms like fever, cough, and wheezing. It primarily affects young children, older adults, and those with compromised immune systemss. Diagnosis involves PCR tests and other laboratory methods.
