(L.A.) Maretha Mangham, 58, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 58-year-old Black female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Maretha Mangham.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Conditions: Effects of Cocaine, History of Asthma and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease

RIP MARETHA MANGHAM (December 15, 1965 – April 30, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 5:40 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on May 22, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the coke.

This is considered an accidental drug overdose.
