(L.A.) Ali Mercer, 27, Died in Transitional Housing

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 27-year-old Black male that occurred in transitional housing.
The coroner’s office has identified the man as Ali Mercer.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl and Heroin
RIP ALI MERCER (October 30, 1996 – April 22, 2024)
Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 8:00 p.m.
The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on July 4, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.
