(L.A.) John Bitar, 27, Died From Substance Abuse

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 27-year-old male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as John Bitar.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Clonazepam, Ethanol, Fentanyl, and Lorazepam

Other Significant Condition: History of Epilepsy

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 8:52 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on July 4, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back from the lab.
