(L.A.) Robert Childers, 48, Died in a Wash

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 48-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred in a wash.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Robert Childers.

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 8:07 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on October 8, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drug.

A wash is a stream, creek, or river that only carries water intermittently, usually during and after rainstorms or snowmelt. These are common in arid regions like Southern California.
