Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 20-year-old Latino male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Andrew Nuñez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl Toxicity

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 9:32 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on June 14, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drug.
