(L.A.) Eric Caron, 55, Died From Meth

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 55-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Eric Caron.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Methamphetamine

Other Significant Conditions: Hypertensive Cardiovascular Disease and Pulmonary Hypertension

RIP ERIC CARON (October 24, 1968 – March 11, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 12:01 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on September 18, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drug.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, overdose.
