Los Angeles County is reporting the death of an 82-year-old female that occurred at her residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Eliza Benjamin.

Cause of Death: Effects of Morphine and Alprazolam

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 3:55 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on June 15, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.
