Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 21-year-old Latino male that occurred in a vehicle.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Oscar Chavez Barreno.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Methamphetamine Effects

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 10:35 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on May 16, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.
