Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 45-year-old Latino male that occurred in a vehicle.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Edward Mejia.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Methamphetamine Intoxication

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 9:39 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on April 30, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.
