(L.A.) David Hernandez, 46, Died in a Hotel

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 46-year-old Latino male that occurred in a hotel.

The coroner’s office identified the man as David Hernandez.

Cause of Death: Effects of Methamphetamine

RIP DAVID HERNANDEZ (May 14, 1977 – February 24, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 12:15 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on March 31, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
