(L.A.) Robert Cardona, 48, Died From Meth

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 48-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Robert Cardona.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Methamphetamine

RIP ROBERT CARDONA (August 18, 1975 – January 24, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 7:28 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on May 24, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the meth.

This is considered an accidental drug overdose.
