Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 54-year-old Latino male that occurred in a tent.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Luis Guzman.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Sequelae of Chronic Ethanol Use

RIP LUIS GUZMAN (March 5, 1969 – January 29, 2024)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 8:26 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on March 27, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back.
