Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 41-year-old Latino male that occurred in a motel.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Carlos Portillo.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Chronic Ethanol Use

Other Significant Conditions: Hypertensive Cardiovascular Disease, Morbid Obesity

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 12:10 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on March 13.
