Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 24-year-old Latino male.

The coroner’s office identified the young man as Denilson Moran.

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl and Alprazolam

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 8:43 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on May 7, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
