Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 53-year-old Black male that occurred in a driveway.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Stanley Barnes.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Conditions: History of Recent Community-Acquired Pneumonia

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 1:56 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the COD ruling on January 28, presumably after the results of tox screening came back negative for substances.
