Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 23-year-old Black male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Deondre Cattouse.

Manner of Death: Suicide

Cause of Death: Gunshot Wound of the Head

RIP DEONDRE CATTOUSE (June 30, 2000 – December 1, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 5:56 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on July 1 the following year.
