Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 50-year-old Latino male that occurred in a transient shelter.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Jesus Reyes Godina.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Methamphetamine Toxicity

RIP JESUS REYES GODINA (August 6, 1973 – December 22, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 10:25 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on April 15, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drug.
