(L.A.) Martin Hernandez, 28, Died in an Alley

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 28-year-old Latino male that occurred in an alley.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Martin Hernandez.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 3:10 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on April 21, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive from the lab. This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.

Note that there are multiple decedents named “Martin Hernandez” in public records.
