Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 48-year-old Black female that occurred in an alley.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Marlene Windon.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Cocaine Toxicity

RIP MARLENE WINDON (December 21, 1974 – December 18, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 10:59 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling in June the following year, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.
