(L.A.) Manuel Gonzalez, 35, Died From Drug Abuse

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 35-year-old Latino male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Manuel Gonzalez.

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl and Methamphetamine

RIP MANUEL GONZALEZ (October 31, 1988 – December 14, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 1:15 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the COD ruling on February 9, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.

Note that there are multiple decedents named “Manuel Gonzalez” in public records.
