Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 49-year-old Latino male that occurred at a residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Pablo Chavez Moreno.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl Intoxication

RIP PABLO CHAVEZ MORENO (May 25, 1974 – December 14, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 8:47 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the COD ruling on January 25, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drug.
