Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 61-year-old Black female that occurred at a private residence.
The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Debra Mitchell.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Cocaine Toxicity
Other Significant Conditions: History of Congestive Heart Failure and Hypertensive Heart Disease

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 11:00 a.m.
The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the COD ruling on February 13, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
