Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 65-year-old Black female that occurred at her residence.
The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Carolyn Austria.
Manner of Death: Accident
Cause of Death: Fentanyl, Cocaine, and Methamphetamine Toxicity
RIP CAROLYN AUSTRIA (April 6, 1958 – November 29, 2023)
Formal pronouncement of death was made on Wednesday at 7:40 a.m.
The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the COD ruling on February 13, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
