(L.A.) Gary Gstohl, 64, Died From Meth

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 64-year-old White/Caucasian male.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Gary Gstohl.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death A: Congestive Heart Failure

Cause of Death B: Atherosclerotic and Hypertensive Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Condition: Methamphetamine Effects

RIP GARY GSTOHL (July 23, 1959 – November 13, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 10:58 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on December 20, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the meth. This is considered an accidental drug overdose.
