Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 75-year-old Black male that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as James Bills.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease

RIP JAMES BILLS (August 31, 1948 – November 10, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 8:47 a.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on April 10 the following year, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back negative for substances.
