The coroner’s office has identified the man as Roberto Cruz Avelar.

Cause of Death: Sequelae of Chronic Alcohol Use

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 4:40 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the COD ruling on February 13.
