(L.A.) Antonio Ruelas, 55, Died From Drugs

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 55-year-old Latino male.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Antonio Ruelas.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl and Cocaine

RIP ANTONIO RUELAS (September 6, 1968 – November 13, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 2:05 p.m.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on April 20, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the drugs.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, overdose.
