(L.A.) Kevin Pleitez, 27, Died in a Hospital

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 27-year-old Latino male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office identified the man as Kevin Pleitez.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Multiple Gunshot Wounds

RIP KEVIN PLEITEZ (April 23, 1996 – October 31, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 12:03 a.m.

Inglewood PD said the shooting took place late Monday night in the 700 block of West Hillcrest Boulevard at around 11:20 p.m.

A suspect named Rayfton Cole, a 36-year-old Black male, would be arrested for the murder on November 16. As of March 2026, he is still being held at North County Correctional Facility in Castaic, awaiting a court date.
