Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 46-year-old “White/Caucasian” male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Hilario Juarez.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death A: Compications of Laennec’s Cirrhosis

Cause of Death B: Chronic Alcoholism

Other Significant Conditions: Medical History of Diabetes Mellitus; Homelessness

RIP HILARIO JUAREZ (October 25, 1976 – October 22, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 6:29 a.m.

The medical examiner noted that the decedent was homeless.

Laënnec cirrhosis is primarily caused by excessive and chronic alcohol consumption.
