(L.A.) Mauro Bernal, 31, Died in a Nursing Home

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 31-year-old Latino male that occurred in a nursing home.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Mauro Bernal.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Methamphetamine Intoxication

RIP MAURO BERNAL (July 1, 1992 – October 24, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 11:18 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on December 13, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
