The coroner’s office has identified the man as Allen Cooke of South Ridgely Drive.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Sequelae of Severe Obesity

Other Significant Conditions: Diabetes Mellitus, Congestive Heart Failure

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 5:05 a.m.

The decedent was taken to Olympia Medical Center at 5900 W. Olympic Blvd. Los Angeles, CA 90036.
