Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 46-year-old Hispanic female that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Luz Hurtado Hayon.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Methamphetamine Toxicity

RIP LUZ HURTADO HAYON (July 7, 1977 – September 29, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Friday at 10:28 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on October 15. This was an accidental drug overdose.
