Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 53-year-old Black male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Steve Dixon.

Manner of Death: Homicide

Cause of Death: Combined Effects of Phencyclidine, Methamphetamine, and Chest Compression

Other Significant Condition: Recent Cocaine Use

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Sunday at 3:41 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on December 20, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
