(L.A.) Darrell Nichols Sr., 62, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 62-year-old Black male that occurred at his residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Darrell Nichols Sr.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Cocaine

RIP DARRELL NICHOLS SR. (July 10, 1961 – October 2, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 12:51 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on November 9, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive from the lab.

This is considered an accidental, i.e., unintentional, drug overdose.
