(L.A.) Ren Amber, 29, Died at a Residence

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 29-year-old female that occurred at a residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Ren Amber and given her race/ethnicity as Asian + White/Caucasian.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl Toxicity

RIP REN AMBER (June 24, 1994 – September 19, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 5:24 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on October 24, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drug. This was an accidental overdose.

The decedent is of Chinese descent.

Note that the medical examiner placed her surname before her forename. They may change this at some point.
