(L.A.) Joseph Solis, 59, Died From Meth

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 59-year-old male that occurred at a residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Joseph Solis.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death A: Ischemic Heart Disease

Cause of Death B: Atherosclerotic and Hypertensive Cardiovascular Disease

Other Significant Conditions: Effects of Methamphetamine and Medical History of Cerebrovascular Accident, Pre-Diabetes, Hypertension, Hypercholesterolemia, and Prostate Disease

RIP JOSEPH SOLIS (August 13, 1964 – August 22, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 8:08 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on June 18, presumably after the results of tox screening had come back positive for the meth.

This is considered an accidental drug overdose.
