Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 57-year-old Black male that occurred at a residence.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Robert Allen.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl and Cocaine

RIP ROBERT ALLEN (September 13, 1965 – August 17, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 10:44 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on January 2, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.

Note that there are multiple decedents named “Robert Allen” in the medical examiner’s records.
