(L.A.) James Capps, 56, Died in a Motel

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 56-year-old White/Caucasian male that occurred in a motel.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as James Capps.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Effects of Fentanyl, Heroin, and Methamphetamine

Other Significant Condition: Recent Cocaine Use

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 9:49 a.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on November 8, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
