Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 40-year-old Black “male” that occurred at a business.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Gabriele Smith.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Community-Acquired Bronchopneumonia

Other Significant Condition: Idiopathic Epilepsy

RIP GABRIELE SMITH (April 16, 1991 – July 20, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Thursday at 11:50 a.m.

No date of birth provided by the government investigator as of July 21.

On July 22, the medical examiner corrected the spelling of the decedent’s first name from Gabrielle to Gabriele and added the birthdate.

The Department of Medical Examiner publicly disclosed the CoD ruling on March 27 the following year.
