(L.A.) Calixto Amaya, 43, Died on the Freeway

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 43-year-old Latino male that occurred on the freeway.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Calixto Amaya.

Manner of Death: Suicide

Cause of Death: Traumatic Injuries

RIP CALIXTO AMAYA (December 12, 1979 – June 27, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Tuesday at 3:36 p.m.

By June 28, the DME had changed the decedent’s name from “Calixto Amaya Lopez” to simply Calixto Amaya.
