(L.A.) Matthew Williams, 32, Died on a Sidewalk

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 32-year-old Black male that occurred on a sidewalk.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Matthew Williams.

Manner of Death: Accident

Cause of Death: Fentanyl and Methamphetamine Intoxication

RIP MATTHEW WILLIAMS (October 26, 1990 – June 26, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 7:47 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on August 17, presumably after the results of tox screening came back positive for the drugs.
