(L.A.) Monica Lee, 75, Died in a Nursing Home

Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 75-year-old Asian female that occurred in a nursing home.
The coroner’s office has identified the woman as Monica Lee.
Manner of Death: Homicide
Cause of Death A: Asphyxia
Cause of Death B: Neck Compression and Suffocation

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Saturday at 8:45 a.m.
A man named Jianchun Li (dob 7/28/82) was charged with murdering the decedent and a fellow elderly woman at an assisted living facility.
The assisted care facility, identified as Happy Home Care, is located in the 23800 block of Sapphire Canyon Road in Diamond Bar.
Neighbors say there are usually eight elderly people living at the residence.
