Los Angeles County is reporting the death of a 35-year-old Black male that occurred in a hospital.

The coroner’s office has identified the man as Dashawn Coley.

Manner of Death: Natural

Cause of Death: Hypertensive Cardiovascular Disease

RIP DASHAWN COLEY (March 30, 1988 – June 5, 2023)

Formal pronouncement of death was made on Monday at 12:29 p.m.

Ruling by the deputy medical examiner was published on December 20, presumably after the results of tox screening came back negative for substances.
